Yes, and the core always will be. A paid Settl Plus with AI features may come later.
Does Settl hold my money?
No. It records who owes what and opens your UPI app to pay. Money goes straight to your friend.
Can I move from Splitwise?
Yes. Export a group or friend as a spreadsheet and import it. Balances come over exactly.
Do my friends need the app?
No. Add them by name and number; they can join later from a WhatsApp invite.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Add expenses and payments without signal; they sync when you are back online.
Is Settl open source?
Yes. Read the code, suggest changes, or run your own copy.
Which UPI apps work?
